- 2 ripe avocados
- 1 ripe mango
- 1 lime (juiced)
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cilantro (optional)
- Red onion (optional, diced)
- Cherry tomatoes (optional, halved)
Instructions
- Begin by cutting the avocados and mango into bite-sized cubes and placing them in a large mixing bowl.
- Squeeze the juice of the lime over the diced avocado and mango.
- Sprinkle in salt to taste and gently toss the ingredients.
- Add the diced red onion, halved cherry tomatoes, and freshly chopped cilantro if using.
- Mix well once more and serve immediately or refrigerate for a chilled salad.
Notes
Chop mango and avocado a few hours in advance, but don’t mix lime juice until ready to serve.
