Ingredients

  • 12 mozzarella sticks
  • 12 slices of thick-cut bacon
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
  • Cooking spray
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wrap each mozzarella stick with a slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick if necessary.
  3. Dredge each wrapped stick in flour, shaking off excess.
  4. Dip the flour-coated stick into the beaten eggs to coat.
  5. Coat with breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
  6. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and spray lightly with cooking spray.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until bacon is crispy and cheese is melted.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
