Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 cup cooked roast beef, shredded
- 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add cold butter and mix until crumbly.
- Stir in milk until just combined.
- Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently.
- Roll out the dough and cut into circles.
- Place a spoonful of shredded beef and cheese on half of the circles.
- Top with remaining circles and seal the edges.
- Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- In a small saucepan, heat beef broth and Worcestershire sauce for dipping.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add garlic powder to the dough.
- Serve with au jus for dipping.
- Can be made ahead and frozen before baking.
