- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 lemon, juiced
Instructions
- Combine the Greek yogurt, minced garlic, olive oil, dried oregano, dried thyme, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice in a mixing bowl.
- Place the chicken breasts in a zip-top bag or a shallow bowl, then pour the marinade over the chicken.
- Seal the bag or cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and place it into a baking dish.
- Bake for approximately 25-30 minutes until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Marinate the chicken for up to 24 hours for maximum flavor. Adjust herbs to your liking and consider adding fresh herbs or spices.
