Ingredients

  • 1 pound ziti pasta
  • 1 pound Italian sausage, casings removed
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the ziti pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the cooked ziti, sausage, ricotta cheese, marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
