Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Combine mashed bananas, sugar, milk, egg, and vanilla extract until creamy and well-blended.
  2. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon in another bowl.
  3. Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture gradually, stirring until just combined.
  4. Heat oil in a deep frying pan or Dutch oven over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
  5. Drop small spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Remove the donut holes with a slotted spoon and drain them on paper towels.
  7. Serve warm, optionally dusted with powdered sugar.
