- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (for frosting)
- 1–2 tablespoons milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your donut pan.
- Mix together the mashed bananas, sugar, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt in another bowl.
- Join the dry mixture with the wet mixture, folding gently to avoid overmixing.
- Fill the donut pan about two-thirds full with batter.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool the donuts on a wire rack.
- Prepare the frosting by mixing cream cheese, powdered sugar, cinnamon, and milk until smooth.
- Frost the cooled donuts and enjoy!
Notes
For added flavor, consider mixing in nuts or chocolate chips into the batter.
