A refreshing and vibrant drink made with fresh lemon juice and blue raspberry syrup, perfect for summer gatherings.

- Fresh lemon juice (from about 6-8 lemons)
- 1 cup sugar
- 5 cups water (divided)
- ½ cup blue raspberry syrup
- Blue food coloring (optional)
- Fresh raspberries (for garnish)
- Lemon slices (for garnish)
Instructions
- Make the Simple Syrup: In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of sugar with 1 cup of water. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly until the sugar completely dissolves. Allow to cool.
- Combine Ingredients: In a large pitcher, mix together the freshly squeezed lemon juice, cooled simple syrup, blue raspberry syrup, and the remaining 4 cups of cold water. Stir well.
- Add Color (Optional): Add a few drops of blue food coloring to achieve the desired hue.
- Taste for Balance: Adjust sweetness and dilution as needed by adding more sugar or water.
- Chill: Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Serve: Fill glasses with ice and pour the lemonade over the top. Garnish with fresh raspberries and lemon slices.
Notes
This lemonade can be made a day in advance. Store it in an airtight container for the best flavor. You can also add fresh herbs or other berries for a twist.
