Description

A deliciously moist poke cake infused with the rich flavors of butter, pecans, and praline, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the yellow cake mix according to package instructions using water, oil, and eggs.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and bake for 30-35 minutes.
  4. Once baked, remove the cake from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes.
  5. Using the end of a wooden spoon, poke holes all over the top of the cake.
  6. In a bowl, mix the sweetened condensed milk and caramel sauce, then pour it over the cake, ensuring it fills the holes.
  7. Sprinkle chopped pecans over the top of the cake.
  8. In another bowl, combine whipped topping, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract, then spread it over the cake.
  9. Refrigerate the cake for at least 2 hours before serving.
