- 1 cedar plank (soaked in water for at least 1 hour)
- 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce

- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium heat.
- In a bowl, mix together the maple syrup, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Place the soaked cedar plank on the grill and close the lid for about 5 minutes until it starts to smoke.
- Place the salmon fillet on the cedar plank, skin side down.
- Brush the maple glaze generously over the salmon.
- Close the grill lid and cook for about 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
