- 1 lb fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 lb lobster meat, cooked and chopped
- 1 cup crab meat
- 1 cup carrots, chopped
- 1 cup peas
- 1 cup celery, chopped
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup seafood or vegetable broth
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp dill
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 cup cold butter, cut into cubes
- 2 cups all-purpose flour (for biscuits)
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Melt butter in a Dutch oven over medium heat. Sauté onions, carrots, and celery until tender (about 5-7 minutes).
- Add the shrimp, lobster, and crab meat, then stir in the flour and cook for 2 minutes.
- Pour in the broth and heavy cream, then bring to a gentle simmer until thickened.
- Sprinkle in dill, thyme, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to taste.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder, paprika, and salt. Cut in cold butter until resembling coarse crumbs.
- Stir in shredded cheddar cheese and just enough milk to form a dough.
- Pour the seafood filling into a baking dish and drop spoonfuls of biscuit dough on top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until the biscuit topping is golden brown.
- Let sit for 5-10 minutes before serving.

Make-ahead: Prepare the seafood filling and refrigerate for up to 48 hours before adding the biscuit topping and baking.
