- 12 oz tortellini
- 1 lb beef steak, thinly sliced
- 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the tortellini according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and bell pepper, sautéing until softened.
- Add the sliced beef to the skillet, cooking until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
- Pour in the beef broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
- Reduce heat and add the provolone cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.
- Add the cooked tortellini to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce.
- Serve hot, garnished with additional provolone if desired.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add sliced jalapeños or red pepper flakes.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
