- 8 jalapeño peppers
- 8 oz softened cream cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded colby jack cheese
- 1/4 cup canned chili (or homemade)
- 1 package lil smokies
- 1.5 tablespoons BBQ seasoning
- 1 package crescent roll dough
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut each jalapeño in half lengthwise, removing seeds carefully.
- Blend cream cheese, colby jack, chili, lil smokies, and BBQ seasoning in a bowl.
- Fill each jalapeño half with the cheesy mixture.
- Roll the crescent roll dough into strips and wrap around jalapeños.
- Brush with melted butter.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Wear gloves while handling jalapeños. Remove seeds for milder poppers.
