Ingredients

- 500g Bread Flour
- 350ml Water
- 100g Sourdough Starter
- 10g Salt
- 30ml Olive Oil
- 20g Honey
Instructions
- Mix the bread flour and water in a large bowl. Let rest for 30 minutes.
- Add the sourdough starter, salt, olive oil, and honey. Stir until well incorporated.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes.
- Transfer the kneaded dough into a greased bowl and cover it with a damp cloth. Let rise for 4 to 6 hours.
- Shape the dough into a round loaf and place it in a floured banneton.
- Proof the loaf for 1 to 2 hours.
- Preheat your oven to 230°C (450°F).
- Bake the bread for 30 to 35 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool on a wire rack for at least 30 minutes before slicing.
Notes
Make-ahead: Consider refrigerating the shaped loaf overnight for enhanced flavor. Can also use an air fryer as a cooking alternative.
