A comforting and hearty crockpot goulash with ground beef, pasta, and a rich tomato sauce, perfect for family dinners and gatherings.

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 cups elbow macaroni, uncooked
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- In a skillet, warm over medium heat and add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking into smaller pieces.
- Transfer the cooked beef to the crockpot.
- Add chopped onion, minced garlic, and bell pepper to the crockpot.
- Add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6–8 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours.
- About 30 minutes before serving, stir in uncooked elbow macaroni.
- Cover and continue cooking on HIGH for 20-30 minutes until macaroni is al dente.
- Adjust seasoning if necessary, and sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese before serving.
- Ladle into bowls and serve warm.
Notes
For a lighter version, consider using ground turkey or plant-based alternatives. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for 3-4 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
