Description

A savory Cuban sandwich featuring layers of roast pork, ham, Swiss cheese, dill pickles, and yellow mustard on toasted Cuban bread.


Ingredients

  • Cuban Bread
  • Roast Pork
  • Sliced Ham
  • Swiss Cheese
  • Dill Pickles
  • Yellow Mustard
  • Butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your griddle or panini press to medium-high heat.
  2. Slice the Cuban bread in half lengthwise.
  3. Spread yellow mustard on the inside of both halves.
  4. Layer the bottom half with roast pork, ham, and Swiss cheese, then add dill pickle slices.
  5. Compress the sandwich by placing the top half of the bread on.
  6. Butter the outside of the sandwich generously.
  7. Place the sandwich on the griddle and press down lightly.
  8. Grill for about 3–5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  9. Remove from heat, slice down the center, and serve warm.

Notes

Use fresh Cuban bread for the best texture. Customize your sandwich with different cheeses or add spicy elements.
