  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup salted caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream the softened butter and both sugars together in a large bowl using an electric mixer on medium speed for about 4-5 minutes, until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, adding the vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips and salted caramel sauce with a rubber spatula.
  7. Drop generous spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space for spreading.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set but centers are soft.
  9. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
