- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup salted caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream the softened butter and both sugars together in a large bowl using an electric mixer on medium speed for about 4-5 minutes, until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, adding the vanilla extract until well combined.
- Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and salted caramel sauce with a rubber spatula.
- Drop generous spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space for spreading.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set but centers are soft.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Chill the dough for thicker cookies and customize with nuts or different chocolates if desired.
