Description

Ingredients

  • 2 lobsters (about 1.5 pounds each)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cup grated Gruyère cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil the lobsters in salted water for about 8-10 minutes until cooked. Remove and let cool.
  2. Once cooled, extract the lobster meat and chop it into bite-sized pieces.
  3. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat and sauté the onion and garlic until translucent.
  4. Add the white wine and let it simmer for a few minutes.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream and Dijon mustard, and let it cook until slightly thickened.
  6. Add the lobster meat to the sauce and mix well. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle the Gruyère cheese on top.
  8. Broil in the oven for about 5 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
