- 2 lobsters (about 1.5 pounds each)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 cup grated Gruyère cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Boil the lobsters in salted water for about 8-10 minutes until cooked. Remove and let cool.
- Once cooled, extract the lobster meat and chop it into bite-sized pieces.
- In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat and sauté the onion and garlic until translucent.
- Add the white wine and let it simmer for a few minutes.
- Stir in the heavy cream and Dijon mustard, and let it cook until slightly thickened.
- Add the lobster meat to the sauce and mix well. Season with salt and pepper.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle the Gruyère cheese on top.
- Broil in the oven for about 5 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, you can add a splash of brandy to the sauce.
