Ingredients
Scale
- 1 fully cooked ham (about 8–10 pounds)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/2 cup crushed pineapple
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven: Set the oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Prepare the ham: Score the surface of the ham in a diamond pattern.
- Mix the glaze: In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together brown sugar, honey, orange juice, crushed pineapple, Dijon mustard, ground cloves, and ground cinnamon until smooth.
- Glaze the ham: Place the ham in a roasting pan and brush the glaze generously over the surface.
- Cover and bake: Loosely cover the ham with aluminum foil and bake for about 15 minutes per pound.
- Baste with glaze: Remove the foil during the last 30 minutes, brushing the ham with the glaze every 10 minutes.
- Check doneness: Once the ham reaches an internal temperature of 140°F (60°C), pull it from the oven and let it rest for 15-20 minutes.
- Slice and serve: Carve the ham and serve it with extra glaze and your favorite accompaniments.
Notes
Make the glaze a day ahead for deeper flavor. Cook in an air fryer or grill for a different twist.
