Description

A delicious glazed ham with a sweet and tangy glaze, perfect for any festive gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 fully cooked ham (about 810 pounds)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup crushed pineapple
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven: Set the oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Prepare the ham: Score the surface of the ham in a diamond pattern.
  3. Mix the glaze: In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together brown sugar, honey, orange juice, crushed pineapple, Dijon mustard, ground cloves, and ground cinnamon until smooth.
  4. Glaze the ham: Place the ham in a roasting pan and brush the glaze generously over the surface.
  5. Cover and bake: Loosely cover the ham with aluminum foil and bake for about 15 minutes per pound.
  6. Baste with glaze: Remove the foil during the last 30 minutes, brushing the ham with the glaze every 10 minutes.
  7. Check doneness: Once the ham reaches an internal temperature of 140°F (60°C), pull it from the oven and let it rest for 15-20 minutes.
  8. Slice and serve: Carve the ham and serve it with extra glaze and your favorite accompaniments.

Notes

Make the glaze a day ahead for deeper flavor. Cook in an air fryer or grill for a different twist.
