Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a 12-cup muffin tin with paper liners.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, whisk melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
- Fold wet ingredients into dry ingredients gently until just combined.
- In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth.
- Fill muffin liners halfway with batter, add a spoonful of cream cheese filling, and cover with more batter.
- Sprinkle cinnamon sugar on top and bake for 18–20 minutes.
- Cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Drizzle with melted white chocolate if desired before serving.
