Ingredients

- 200g Halloumi cheese
- 250g asparagus spears
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Cut the Halloumi cheese into thick slices.
- Trim the ends of the asparagus spears.
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- Coat the Halloumi and asparagus with the olive oil mixture.
- Thread the Halloumi and asparagus onto skewers, alternating between them.
- Grill the skewers for about 3-4 minutes on each side until the Halloumi is golden brown and the asparagus is tender.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
- Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning.
- Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or cherry tomatoes.
- Serve with a side of tzatziki for dipping.
