Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 4 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a heavy skillet over medium heat. Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper and cook for 5-6 minutes until golden brown; remove and set aside.
  2. Sauté the minced garlic in the same skillet for about a minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  3. Create the sauce by pouring in the chicken broth and heavy cream. Gently bring to a simmer.
  4. Add the grated parmesan cheese and stir until melted and the sauce thickens.
  5. Reintroduce the chicken, sprinkle crumbled bacon on top, and simmer on low for another 5 minutes.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
