- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries, chopped
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese until well blended.
- Add in the chopped nuts, dried cranberries, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Shape the mixture into a ball and wrap it in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to firm up.
- Once chilled, remove the cheese ball from the wrap and roll it in chopped parsley to coat the outside.
- Serve with crackers or fresh vegetables for dipping.
Notes
- For a sweeter flavor, consider adding a tablespoon of honey to the mixture.
- This cheese ball can be made a day in advance for convenience.
