Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 12 tablespoons cold water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded cheddar cheese and softened butter until well blended.
  3. Add the flour, salt, paprika, and garlic powder to the cheese mixture and mix until crumbly.
  4. Gradually add cold water, one tablespoon at a time, until the dough comes together.
  5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick.
  6. Cut the dough into small squares and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Poke a hole in the center of each square with a fork.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let cool before serving.
