Description
A delicious homemade version of Raising Cane’s Chicken and their famous Cane’s Sauce, perfect for a quick meal or a party.
Ingredients

- 1 lb chicken tenders
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken tenders in buttermilk for at least 1 hour.
- In a bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Remove chicken from buttermilk, allowing excess to drip off, then coat in the flour mixture.
- Fry the chicken tenders in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Drain on paper towels and keep warm.
- For the Cane’s Sauce, mix 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 1/4 cup ketchup, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce, and a dash of black pepper in a bowl.
- Serve the chicken tenders with Cane’s Sauce on the side.
Notes
- For extra crunch, double-dip the chicken in buttermilk and flour.
- Adjust the spices in the flour mixture to your taste.
- Store leftover sauce in the refrigerator for up to a week.
