- 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, honey, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until tender and caramelized.
- If using, sprinkle chopped walnuts over the Brussels sprouts during the last 5 minutes of roasting.
- Remove from the oven and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add minced garlic to the Brussels sprouts before roasting.
- These can be made ahead of time and reheated in the oven.
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey according to your taste.
