Ingredients

- 2 cups of asparagus, trimmed
- 2 cups of carrots, sliced
- 3 tablespoons of honey
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add sliced carrots and cook for 3-4 minutes until they start to soften.
- Add asparagus and continue to stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix honey and soy sauce, then pour over the vegetables.
- Stir well to coat the vegetables and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes.
- This dish pairs well with grilled chicken or fish.
