Description

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup Irish cream liqueur
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar using an electric mixer until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Mix in the Irish cream, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl, then gradually add to the wet ingredients, mixing lightly until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  6. Drop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are golden but the centers remain soft.
  8. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For an extra indulgence, sprinkle sea salt on top before baking.
