- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup Irish cream liqueur
- 1 large egg
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar using an electric mixer until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
- Mix in the Irish cream, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl, then gradually add to the wet ingredients, mixing lightly until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Drop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheets.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are golden but the centers remain soft.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For an extra indulgence, sprinkle sea salt on top before baking.
