Description

A delightful appetizer that combines savory sausage links wrapped in crescent dough with creamy, spicy cream cheese and jalapeños.


Ingredients

  • 1 package of sausage links
  • 1 package of jalapeños, sliced and seeded
  • 1 package of cream cheese
  • 1 can of refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup of shredded cheese (like cheddar, pepper jack, or mozzarella)
  • Optional: bacon bits

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine the cream cheese, shredded cheese, and sliced jalapeños in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Open the can of crescent roll dough and cut it into triangles.
  4. Place a sausage link and a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture on the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Roll up the dough snugly around the sausage and filling.
  6. Place the assembled poppers on a lined baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
