Description

Delightful Lebanese Arayes featuring grilled pita stuffed with spiced ground beef and fresh herbs, offering a crunchy exterior and succulent filling.


Ingredients

  • 4 Pita Bread
  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1/4 cup Parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Coriander
  • Salt to taste
  • Black Pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, parsley, onion, garlic, cumin, coriander, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Carefully cut the pita bread in half and generously stuff each half with the beef mixture.
  3. Brush the outside of the pita with olive oil.
  4. Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium heat.
  5. Place the stuffed pitas on the grill for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute ground beef with ground turkey. Serve with hummus or tabbouleh for a complete meal.
