- 3/4 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the cold butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in the cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon.
- In a separate bowl, combine the maple syrup and milk.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently a few times.
- Roll out the dough to about 1 inch thick and cut into biscuits.
- Place the biscuits on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
