Deliciously sweet and savory snacks made with buttery crackers, crispy bacon, and a maple-brown sugar glaze.

- 24 Buttery Rectangular Crackers (Club or Ritz)
- 8 Slices Bacon, Cut into Thirds
- 1/3 Cup Pure Maple Syrup
- 1/3 Cup Packed Light Brown Sugar
- 1/8 Teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
- Pinch of Cayenne Pepper (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil and place a wire rack on top.
- Arrange the crackers in a single layer on the wire rack.
- Place one piece of bacon atop each cracker.
- In a small bowl, mix together the maple syrup, brown sugar, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Spoon or brush the glaze over each cracker.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 18 to 22 minutes, keeping an eye on them.
- Allow to cool on the wire rack for about 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Make them ahead by assembling the night before and baking just before serving. You can also use an air fryer for a quicker option.
