  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the loaf pan by greasing it with butter or non-stick spray.
  3. Mash the bananas in a mixing bowl until creamy and smooth.
  4. Combine the melted butter with the mashed bananas, then whisk in the beaten egg, vanilla extract, and sugar.
  5. Mix the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  6. Combine the dry mixture into the wet ingredients gently until just mixed.
  7. Add walnuts or chocolate chips if desired.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  9. Bake for 55–60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
