Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the loaf pan by greasing it with butter or non-stick spray.
- Mash the bananas in a mixing bowl until creamy and smooth.
- Combine the melted butter with the mashed bananas, then whisk in the beaten egg, vanilla extract, and sugar.
- Mix the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Combine the dry mixture into the wet ingredients gently until just mixed.
- Add walnuts or chocolate chips if desired.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 55–60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
Notes
For the best results, ensure bananas are fully ripe with brown spots. Don’t overmix the batter to maintain a light texture.
