- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Mix together the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper until just combined.
- Roll the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake the meatballs for about 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and pour marinara sauce over the meatballs.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella on top of the sauce.
- Return the meatballs to the oven and bake for another 10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve warm.
Notes
These meatballs freeze beautifully; assemble and store them in a freezer-safe bag for future use. Adjust seasoning and add spices as desired.
