Description

Delicious oven-baked meatballs topped with marinara sauce and melted mozzarella, perfect for family dinners or gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix together the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper until just combined.
  3. Roll the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake the meatballs for about 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  5. Remove from the oven and pour marinara sauce over the meatballs.
  6. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella on top of the sauce.
  7. Return the meatballs to the oven and bake for another 10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Serve warm.

Notes

These meatballs freeze beautifully; assemble and store them in a freezer-safe bag for future use. Adjust seasoning and add spices as desired.
