Description

A delicious sandwich featuring grilled chicken, fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, and basil pesto, perfect for a quick lunch or dinner.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup fresh mozzarella, sliced
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • 1/2 cup basil pesto
  • 4 slices of ciabatta bread
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
  4. Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.
  5. Slice the grilled chicken and layer it on the ciabatta bread.
  6. Add slices of fresh mozzarella and tomato on top of the chicken.
  7. Spread basil pesto over the top and add fresh basil leaves.
  8. Top with the other slice of ciabatta bread and drizzle with olive oil.
  9. Serve immediately and enjoy!
