Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add melted butter, salt, and egg to the yeast mixture and mix well.
  3. Gradually add flour and knead until a soft dough forms.
  4. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread raspberries evenly over it.
  6. Sprinkle cinnamon over the raspberries and roll the dough tightly.
  7. Slice the rolled dough into 12 pieces and place them in a greased baking dish.
  8. Let the rolls rise for another 30 minutes.
  9. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  10. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar, lemon juice, and lemon zest until smooth and drizzle over warm rolls.
