- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups warm water
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1/4 cup everything bagel seasoning
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, stir together the active sourdough starter, all-purpose flour, warm water, and salt until a shaggy dough forms.
- Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the kneaded dough into a greased bowl and let it rise, covered, at room temperature for about 4 hours.
- Gently deflate the dough and shape it into a round loaf, then let it rest on the counter for 30 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) during the dough’s rest.
- Put the shaped loaf on a parchment-lined baking sheet and generously sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until deep golden brown and hollow when tapped.
- Allow the bread to cool on a wire rack before slicing.
