Ingredients

  • Red and white food coloring

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix almond flour and powdered sugar.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk egg whites until foamy, then gradually add granulated sugar until stiff peaks form.
  4. Fold the dry ingredients into the egg whites gently.
  5. Divide the batter into two bowls, tint one red and leave the other white.
  6. Pipe Santa faces onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, then let cool.
  8. Fill with buttercream frosting and assemble the macarons.
