Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked sausage, crumbled
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (Cheddar, Mozzarella, or Pepper Jack)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg for egg wash

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface and cut them into 4-inch squares.
  3. Whisk together the eggs in a mixing bowl, then stir in the crumbled sausage and shredded cheese, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  4. Place a generous spoonful of the sausage mixture in the center of each pastry square.
  5. Fold the pastry over to enclose the filling, sealing the edges tightly.
  6. Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
