- 1 egg for egg wash
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface and cut them into 4-inch squares.
- Whisk together the eggs in a mixing bowl, then stir in the crumbled sausage and shredded cheese, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Place a generous spoonful of the sausage mixture in the center of each pastry square.
- Fold the pastry over to enclose the filling, sealing the edges tightly.
- Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
