Sausage Stuffed Sweet Mini Peppers are a delicious and colorful appetizer that combines the sweetness of mini peppers with savory sausage filling, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 12 sweet mini peppers
  • 1 pound Italian sausage
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the tops off the mini peppers and remove the seeds.
  3. In a skillet, cook the Italian sausage over medium heat until browned and cooked through.
  4. In a bowl, mix the cooked sausage with cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt until well combined.
  5. Stuff each mini pepper with the sausage mixture.
  6. Place the stuffed peppers on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the peppers are tender and the tops are golden brown.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
