Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Sauté the onions and garlic until translucent and fragrant.
  3. Brown the sausage in the skillet until golden and cooked through.
  4. Create the sauce by adding the tomato sauce, seasoning with salt and pepper, and allowing it to simmer.
  5. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  6. Combine the drained pasta with the sauce, tossing to coat.
  7. Serve hot, topped with Parmesan cheese and fresh basil if desired.
