- 1 medium onion, chopped

- Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Fresh basil (optional)
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Sauté the onions and garlic until translucent and fragrant.
- Brown the sausage in the skillet until golden and cooked through.
- Create the sauce by adding the tomato sauce, seasoning with salt and pepper, and allowing it to simmer.
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
- Combine the drained pasta with the sauce, tossing to coat.
- Serve hot, topped with Parmesan cheese and fresh basil if desired.
Notes
You can prepare the sausage sauce a day in advance and reheat it when ready to serve. Customize with vegetables or different types of pasta as desired.
