Description
Transform your taco night with this flavorful seasoned ground beef, perfect for customizing with fresh toppings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional veggies: diced bell peppers or jalapeños
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until it shimmers invitingly.
- Add the diced onion and minced garlic. Sauté lovingly until they become softened and golden, about 3–4 minutes.
- Introduce the ground beef into the skillet. Use your spatula to break it apart, cooking until it’s browned throughout, about 5–7 minutes.
- Stir in chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper; let the spices mingle with the beef for an additional 2–3 minutes.
- If using, add any chopped vegetables now, letting them heat through for a couple of minutes.
- Serve immediately in warm tortillas or over a fresh salad.
