Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup buttermilk
  • 2 teaspoons hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons dry ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together 1 cup of mayonnaise and ½ cup of buttermilk until smooth.
  2. Pour in 2 teaspoons of hot sauce and 1 teaspoon of ketchup. Whisk until thoroughly mixed.
  3. Add 2 tablespoons of dry ranch seasoning, 1 tablespoon of taco seasoning, ½ teaspoon of paprika, ¼ teaspoon of cayenne pepper, ¼ teaspoon of ground cumin, ½ teaspoon of kosher salt, and ½ teaspoon of black pepper. Whisk until well combined.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. For a thinner sauce, add buttermilk one tablespoon at a time until desired consistency is achieved.
  5. Transfer the sauce into an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Get ready to serve it with wings, fries, vegetables, or as a topping for salads and wraps.

Notes

Make the sauce ahead of time for deeper flavors. Adjust heat by varying cayenne pepper.
