Description

A magical dish featuring tender chicken coated in a honey-kissed soy sauce glaze, enhanced with fresh basil and a hint of spice.


Ingredients

  • 2 Chicken Breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup Fresh Basil Leaves, chopped
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 Red Chili Pepper, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and chopped red chili pepper; sauté for about one minute until fragrant.
  3. Introduce the chicken breast pieces to the pan and cook until golden brown and fully cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. In a small bowl, combine soy sauce and honey; stir until blended.
  5. Pour the mixture over the chicken and toss well to coat evenly.
  6. Add in the chopped basil and stir to combine.
  7. Serve hot, ideally over rice or noodles.

Notes

Marinade chicken up to 24 hours in advance for deeper flavor. Serve with steamed jasmine rice or sautéed vegetables.
