Description

Delightfully fluffy rolls filled with a creamy cheesecake mixture and fresh strawberries, topped with a sweet glaze—perfect for breakfast or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 packet instant yeast
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup strawberries, chopped
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 23 tbsp milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine 2 cups of flour, 2 tablespoons of sugar, 1 packet of instant yeast, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Mix well.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together 3/4 cup of warm milk, 2 tablespoons of melted butter, and 1 large egg until blended. Pour this mixture into the dry ingredients, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  3. Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place it in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  4. In another bowl, combine 1 cup of softened cream cheese, 1/2 cup of powdered sugar, 1 cup of chopped strawberries, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  5. Once risen, roll out the dough into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick. Spread the creamy filling evenly, leaving a border. Roll the dough tightly into a log and slice into equal rolls.
  6. Grease a baking dish and place the rolls inside, leaving space in between. Cover with a damp cloth and let rise for an additional 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown on top.
  8. Mix 1 cup of powdered sugar with 2-3 tablespoons of milk for the glaze. Drizzle over rolls after baking.

Notes

Use fresh strawberries for the best flavor. You can make these rolls gluten-free by substituting with a gluten-free flour blend.
