- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 packet active dry yeast (2 1/4 tsp)
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp milk (for glaze)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Warm the milk until lukewarm, then sprinkle in the yeast with 1 tablespoon of sugar; let sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, remaining sugar, and salt. Create a well, then add the yeast mixture, melted butter, and eggs. Mix until soft dough forms.
- Knead on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for about 1 hour until doubled in size.
- Punch down dough, roll into a rectangle. Spread chopped strawberries, sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar.
- Roll tightly into a log, slice into 1-1.5 inch rolls, and arrange in a greased baking dish. Let rise for 30-40 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla for glaze. Drizzle over warm rolls before serving.

Make these ahead and refrigerate overnight. Reheat directly from frozen for up to 2 months.
