Description
A delightful Strawberry Poke Cake that features a tender white cake infused with strawberry gelatin and topped with creamy whipped cream and fresh strawberries.

- 1 box white cake mix
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup strawberry jello
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 cup whipped cream or Cool Whip
- Fresh strawberries for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour your 9;13 inch baking pan.
- Combine the cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs in a large mixing bowl and whisk until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for about 10 minutes.
- Poke holes all over the cake, spacing them about 1 inch apart.
- Dissolve the strawberry jello in 1 cup of boiling water until completely dissolved.
- Pour the jello mixture over the warm cake, allowing it to seep into the holes.
- Cool the cake to room temperature and then refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Spread whipped cream over the top of the cake.
- Garnish with fresh strawberries before serving.
- Cut into squares, serve, and enjoy!
Notes
Make the cake a day in advance for even better flavor absorption. Other jello flavors can be used for variations.
