Ingredients

  • 6 hard-boiled eggs
  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 2 jalapeños, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon black peppercorns
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Peel the hard-boiled eggs and set them aside.
  2. Combine apple cider vinegar, water, sugar, and salt in a saucepan.
  3. Heat the mixture over medium heat until it boils, stirring to dissolve the sugar.
  4. Add jalapeños, black peppercorns, and garlic powder into the brine.
  5. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  6. Place the peeled eggs in a clean jar and pour the brine over them.
  7. Seal the jar and refrigerate for at least three days before enjoying.
