Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup hot sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce, hot sauce, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, rice vinegar, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  3. Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss until they are well coated with the sauce.
  4. Place the wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are crispy and cooked through.
  6. Remove from the oven and toss the wings in the remaining sauce before serving.

  • For extra crispiness, broil the wings for an additional 2-3 minutes after baking.
