Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups bell peppers, diced
  • 1 cup onions, diced
  • 1 cup vinegar (white or apple cider)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon mustard seeds
  • 1 tablespoon celery seeds
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine the diced bell peppers and onions in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Bring the vinegar, sugar, mustard seeds, celery seeds, salt, and black pepper to a simmer in a saucepan.
  3. Pour the warm vinegar mixture over the peppers and onions, stirring to coat.
  4. Allow the mixture to sit at room temperature for at least 30 minutes to marinate.
  5. Transfer the relish to clean mason jars and seal them tightly.
